This worpackage includes (i) eat up of selection programme targeting fish adaptation to salinity; (ii) evaluate fish performances at different developmental stages along the selection programme; (iii) evaluate genetic improvements in the F1 generation; (iv) assess the ability of selected breeders to reproduce under saline conditions; (v) molecular analyses of traits related to salinity adaptation; and (vi) model the economic performances of selected catfish strains
